We hereby certify that we were the three officers appointed to Survey the Treasury Chest on the 19th November, 1847, and that we had no objection to the proposal made by the Treasurer that the surplus discovered in the Chest should stand over without being taken into account until the Treasurer who had just returned from England could make enquiry to satisfy himself as to its correctness.
